Gerald E. O’Shaughnessy

After practicing law in Minnesota during the 1970’s, Mr. O’Shaughnessy co-founded the O’S Companies, owner of Lario Oil and Gas Company, a domestic E&P company, where he served for 15 years as Executive Vice President. Starting in 1991, he has served as Chairman of The Globe Resources Group (”Globe”), a privately funded equity capital group whose oil and gas investments have included the first energy sector joint venture in Russia during perestroika and the largest well servicing and rehabilitation project in Western Siberia, involving sophisticated logistical operations and the rehabilitation of 700 wells (increasing production from 0 to 100,000 bpd). Mr. O’Shaughnessy’s participation in this project made him the first western partner of OAO Lukoil, and he subsequently entered into other partnerships with OAO Lukoil including building and managing one of the world’s largest oilfield pump repair facilities. In 2002, Mr. O’Shaughnessy co-founded GEOPARK (GPRK), a NYSE listed South American E&P company (with operations in Argentina, Chile, Columbia, and Brazil), where he also serves as Executive Chairman. He founded BOE in 2011.
